Story

My name is [Martina Boo] and under the brand Artieboo I create paintings that capture quiet moments, emotions and the atmosphere of places where you can pause and breathe for a while.

I mainly work with acrylic paints and I love using texture paste. It gives my paintings depth, structure and a tactile quality – tree bark, fallen leaves or an old bench almost step out of the canvas and feel more alive in the interior.

In my work, I am inspired by:

  • the play of light and shadow in calm, silent moments of the day,
  • nature and the changing seasons, especially their colours and moods,
  • places that carry a story – an empty bench, a park alley, hidden corners where one can get lost in their thoughts.

Each painting is created by hand, layer by layer. I believe art should complement a home rather than dominate it – it should bring emotion, a sense of calm, and sometimes a touch of nostalgia.

For me, Artieboo is a very personal brand – a combination of my surname Boo and the word art. Behind every piece there is me as the artist, with my own style, time and energy carefully put into each painting.

Future

Growing

I see growth as a journey rather than a destination.
As a person, I am learning to slow down, be present and notice details – these moments later become my paintings. As an artist, I want to keep developing my technique, explore new textures, formats and themes, so that each new piece carries a sense of progress.

My goal is to gradually reach more people who resonate with my work – not only in numbers, but in depth. I hope each client will find “their” painting in my art, one they will truly live with and remain happy with for a long time.
